2024 Annual AAC Conference

ELIGIBILITY

The presenting author must be a member of the American Academy of Cariology.

PRESENTATION FORMAT

• All presentations will be in poster format.
• Poster viewing will be all day on Friday, September 20^th, 2024. Poster presentation time will be 45 minutes at 11:15 am – 12:00 pm.

ABSTRACT CONTENT MUST

• Address content in the field of cariology.
• Present basic science, translational, clinical, or implementation/dissemination research; case presentations; public advocacy; community or educational programs.
• Not be previously presented, published, or in press.
• Not advertise or promote commercial products.

ABSTRACT DETAILS

• Title: 12 words or less.
• Authors: First and last name for each author plus affiliation (e.g., name of university, private practice, etc.). Presenting author identified and email address provided.
• Text: 300 words or less, excluding title and authors.
• Suggested Format: Research abstracts: Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Other abstracts: Purpose, Protocol, Outcome.

KEY DATES

• Abstract portal open: April 20, 2024.
• Submission deadline: May 31, 2024.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the AAC website portal. Abstracts not meeting abstract submission criteria will be rejected without consideration.

NOTIFICATION

Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance will be emailed to the presenting author approximately three weeks after the submission deadline.

ABSTRACT PUBLICATION

Presented poster abstracts will be posted on the AAC website following the Conference.
